The PTA is run by volunteers, meaning we are all parents just like you. We try our best to release timely and accurate information via this website and social media, but the school itself is the final word on anything.

Hogg's weekly newsletter, The Razorback Express, goes out to all parents via email at the end of each week. Our Hogg PTA weekly newsletter is delivered via email and an be found on this site.

The primary form of communication at James Hogg M.S. is email and phone calls via the HISD communications system. It is very important for parents to have a current email address and phone number on file with our registrar. 

Our campus policy requires that teachers return emails from parents 48 hours after the email is received. If you experience any delay in response from a teacher, please reach out to your child’s grade level Assistant Principal and/or Administrative Assistant. Teacher email addresses can be found in the Staff Directory of our school website (www.houstonisd.org/hogg).
