The countdown to the 2025–2026 school year is officially on, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back—or welcome you for the first time—to our amazing Hogg Middle School community!

August is packed with events to help students reconnect, get ready, and start the year strong. From our 6th Grade Social and Razorback Bridge Camp to Welcome Back Night and our PTA Coffee, there are so many chances to plug in, ask questions, and meet fellow families. The Hogg PTA is here to support every step of the journey, and we are thrilled to partner with you as we kick off this new chapter together.

The Hogg PTA uses the platform Membership Toolkit - if you had a Hogg student last year, or have used the platform at another school all you'll need to do is update your information. If this is your first year at Hogg and you haven't used Membership Toolkit before, please CREATE AN ACCOUNT. Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed throughout the year. Visit our Volunteer Page HERE and watch for regular announcements for ways to help out.

VIPS Certification

Volunteers must be VIPS certified each school year to volunteer on campus. VIPS registration for the 25-26 school year will open on August 10. Once registration opens, CLICK HERE to complete your VIPS certification for the new school year!

Volunteering isn't just for parents! If you have a neighbor, colleague, family member or friend who is interested in helping out, all they have to do is complete the VIPS registration and they can volunteer.

Did you know that some companies will make a "matching" monetary donation when you volunteer? Check with your employer to see if they participate in this type of program.

Diamond Hogs Dad's Club

Men of Hogg MS, we want you to be part of our newly formed Dad’s Club, the Diamond Hogs. Connect with other Hogg dads/guardians, complete projects at the school, and have a good time!

HOGG DRESS CODE

Hogg Spirit Store is OPEN!

The Hogg Spirit Store is open for presale through July 31 with orders available for pickup on August 5 from 2-5PM. Online orders not picked up on August 5 will be available for pickup during both orientation events.

The spirit store will open in person during Razorback Bridge Camp on August 6 and 7th and 8th grade Welcome Back Night on August 7. Be sure to shop now for all of your Hogg uniform needs!

6th GRADE SPIRIT NIGHT

6th Grade! Please join us on Tuesday, August 5th from 5PM-8PM for the 6th grade Meet and Greet Social at Urban Air! Super bonus… it’s also a spirit event for Hogg PTA. Please mention that you are there to support Hogg when you buy your admission tickets. This is not a drop off event. We look forward to meeting all the new Razorbacks!

6th Grade Razorback Bridge Camp and 7th and 8th Grade Welcome Back Night

Save the date(s) for 6th grade Razorback Bridge Camp and 7th and 8th grade Back to School Night!

RAZORBACK BRIDGE CAMP
On Wednesday, August 6 from 1:30PM-6:30PM incoming 6th graders are invited to receive their schedules, meet their teachers, tour the school, take their ID photos and more. Connect with old friends, make new ones, and learn what makes the Razorback community so amazing! Parents/guardians are invited to campus at 5:30PM for a parent meeting in the auditorium, students will be released to parents/guardians once the meeting concludes.

7th AND 8th GRADE WELCOME BACK NIGHT
On Thursday, August 7 from 5:30-7:30, 7th and 8th grade students are invited to campus (accompanied by an adult) to receive schedules, purchase uniforms, and learn about clubs. A parent meeting will be held at 5:30PM in the auditorium.

Back to School Clean Up Day

We need teamwork to make the dream work! Bring the entire family along and help us knock out multiple projects on campus to get our school ready for the first day, from cleaning up our grounds to cleaning up our classrooms and everything in between! You do not have to be there the entire time. Feel free to come and go as you please and are able!

WHEN: Saturday, August 9th

TIME: 9:30am - 2pm

WHERE: The circle drive entrance of the school will be our meeting point and base.

Items to bring along, if you have them: water bottle, comfortable clothing that can get dirty, rakes, landscaping tools, leaf blowers, edgers, brooms, work/landscaping gloves, cleaning gloves, buckets, sponges, dusters/Swiffers, cleaning rags, paper towels, face mask (if sensitive to dust), a good sense of humor :)

COFFEE WITH THE PRINCIPAL

On August 26 at 9:00AM make plans to head to Hogg Middle School for coffee with the Principal. Principal Saldana will cover a variety of topics impacting Hogg, with a large focus on campus safety.

Reminder that all visitors must check in at the front desk. Once checked in you will be directed where to go for the event.
